Proteus™ Lite Crawler Camera System
The Proteus™ Lite Crawler Camera system is a versatile, reliable and portable all-in-one camera system that is ideal for one-man operations or as a low-cost option for larger companies to use in off-road or remote locations.
Built using high quality materials and state of the art technology the Proteus™ Lite inspection system is a robust and powerful tool for use in harsh environments.
The comprehensive list of modules and accessories allow inspection of pipes equal to and greater than 150mm diameter. Different wheel sets and accessories allow the crawler to be centered in pipe sizes from 150mm to 1000mm.
The Auxiliary Light with Back eye Camera provides additional forward illumination and a color rear view camera with illumination to aid manoeuvring the crawler in reverse.
The system uses a control unit with twin joysticks, keyboard, and reporting software developed in-house by Minicam.

The inspection system Proteus™ Lite is a modular system designed for, but not limited to, inspecting pipeline systems. Using a variety of color cameras, optional modules and accessories, the Proteus™ Lite platform offers everything needed for professional pipeline inspection.
Key Features:
- Cruise control (forward) – by pressing this you will increase the speed of the crawler each time you press until the maximum speed is reached.
- Cruise control (reverse) – by pressing this you will increase the speed of the crawler each time you press until the maximum speed is reached.
- Stop – pressing this will stop the crawler where it is and the power will remain on.
- Back eye – switch between the forward-facing and backward-facing cameras.
- Crawler settings- select the wheel size attached to the crawler for an accurate measurement of speed when the crawler is in motion.
- Available in 3 different Crawler sizes.
