Description

The Dräger X-am® 2500 is a small lightweight 1-4 Gas Detection Instrument.

Specially designed for the requirements of personal monitoring.

Equipped with one catalytic Ex-sensor and three electrochemical sensors as a maximum.

These guarantees a reliable monitoring of the ambient air for explosive gases and vapours as well as O2 and toxic gases like CO, H2S, SO2 and NO2. To accommodate a wide range of customer requirements the Dräger X-am® 2500, assembled immediately before delivery according to the customer’s specifications. Furthermore, the Dräger X-am® 2500 is available in 5 different standard variants.

3-year warranty applies to instrument (excluding battery pack) and Catex, O2, H2S and CO sensors. All units include data and event logging as standard and supplied with a calibration certificate.

Our CO and H2S sensors also have this long service life expectation, so they contribute to especially low operating costs.

The innovative, catalytic Ex sensor is impressive due to its high resistance to silicone and hydrogen sulphide. Together with the high degree of drift stability, this resistance enables an extraordinarily long service life of more than 4 years. Its sensitivity regard to flammable gases and vapours, tested in accordance with the technical approval for measuring IEC/EN 60079-29-1.

Fully developed, high performance Dräger sensors in an extra small format for CO, H2S, O2, SO2 and NO2 gases. Thus enable safe use in industry, mining and in refineries. The impressive hydrogen sulphide sensor has a high resolution, so it can reliably measure even very low workplace limits. The non-consumptive and lead-free sensor for oxygen, characterised by an especially long service life of more than 5 years.

This approval demonstrates the suitability of this instrument for primary explosion protection, e.g. for use in refineries and in the chemical industry.
