The 3M™ Scott™ ELSA Sprint (Emergency Life Support Apparatus) is an escape breathing apparatus which provides a constant supply of air intended for rapid escape from hazardous industrial and marine environments.
Intended for rapid escape from hazardous industrial and marine environments, the 3M™ Scott™ ELSA Sprint Emergency Life Support Apparatus is designed to be simple to use and robust, ensuring maximum protection in escape situations. The ELSA Sprint is a positive pressure escape set, conforming to European Standard EN 402:2003 and is available as a soft hooded or full face variant, as well as standard and anti-static variants.
The ELSA Sprint carrying bag is in black anti-static material or a high visibility orange carrying bag is available in flame retardant/chemical splash resistant material. The system is activated by opening the bag or manually turning the activation valve.
The user activates the ELSA by opening the bag, which automatically releases a pin that’s attached with an activating strap.
