The SafEye detector comprises an infrared transmitter and a receiver separated by 4 to 200 meters, meaning it can replace up to 20 point detectors. With IP66/67 certification, heated optics and a stainless steel construction , the SafEye was designed to operate in harsh environments, and can handle up to 90% signal attenuation caused by dust, fog, rain, snow or vibrations. SIL2-certified, the SafEye has a HART-compatible analog output, a RS485 output, and built in relays, as well as a 3-year warranty.
